Shebsi

 

A Shebsi is an Iranian dish which found itself in the south of Iraq, namely Basrah, the port.

It is a lamb stew cooked with a variety of green leaves. The sauce therefore becomes rich green with some black eyed beans. It is absolutely delicious with rice or pitta bread.
